
Scholarship Summary
- 21 student pharmacists will each receive a $20,000 scholarship.
- The scholarship is paid directly to the student’s pharmacy school and can only be used for tuition and fees.
Purpose
The scholarship is designed to help student pharmacists facing financial hardship complete their Pharm.D. education. It supports students who demonstrate:
- Leadership
- Academic achievement
- Commitment to patient care
- Dedication to advancing the pharmacy profession
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
✅ Be enrolled during the 2026–27 academic year as:
- A P1 or P2 student in a 3- or 4-year Pharm.D. program, OR
- A P3 or P4 student in a 0-5 or 0-6 Pharm.D. program
✅ Attend an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) member institution
✅ Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
✅ Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
✅ Demonstrate financial need based on household income
Financial Need Requirement
Applicants must either:
- File taxes independently, or
- Be claimed as a dependent
The household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. For example:

(Add $11,000 for each additional household member.)
Important Dates
- Application deadline: June 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Time
- Applications reviewed: By August 2026
- Recipients notified: Fall 2026
- Funds distributed to schools: December 2026
Additional Notes
- Students can receive this scholarship only once.
- Recipients must agree to share their name and photo for promotional purposes.
- Winners may be featured by AACP and CVS Health Foundation on websites and social media.
