Award Amount
- $5,000 scholarship
- Paid directly to your pharmacy school and applied to tuition and/or fees
- Can only be received once
Who Can Apply?
You must:
✅ Be enrolled in one of the following during the 2026–2027 academic year:
- P1 or P2 student in a traditional 3-year, 4-year, or extended Pharm.D. program, or
- P3 or P4 student in a direct-entry Pharm.D. program (entered pharmacy school directly from high school)
✅ Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
✅ Have at least a 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing
✅ Demonstrate:
- Leadership
- Academic achievement
- Commitment to serving rural, medically underserved, or health-professional-shortage communities after graduation
✅ Show a commitment to community pharmacy, including previous work or volunteer experience in a community pharmacy setting
Who Is NOT Eligible?
❌ Students graduating from a Pharm.D. program in 2026
❌ Previous recipients of this scholarship
Important Dates
- Application deadline: July 6, 2026 (11:59 p.m. Hawaii Time)
- Applications reviewed: By September 2026
- Recipients notified: Fall 2026
- Funds distributed to schools: December 2026
